I would recommend this to people who want to learn about history and be entertained and the same time. This book is great but there are times where things can get emotional.

It was an extremely enjoyable book, and impeccably written. I can not put it into words how much it moved me.

Sad but interesting. Would be cool to live in different places but scary changing school & not speaking the language.

This is my favorite book by far. The story really comes alive in your head as you go on a journey with Anna, Max and family, as they escape Germany and travel as refugees. From Berlin to Switzerland and then to Paris until they finally ended up in England with their Uncle Otto. Overall this was a brilliant book.

It was really interesting and really captures your attention. It makes you understand what people would have felt like in the war.

a truly heartwarming story about a young Jewish girl who is forced to flee Berlin due to the rise of the Nazi party. I truly recommend this book to any history lovers :)

I loved this book! It interested it me because it didn’t seem like there would be too much adventure, or danger which I like. I would recommend this to anyone who likes books that aren’t too shocking or scary. I also enjoyed how Anna was never in mortal peril.

If you're searching for a World War 2 book, this is definitely the one. When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit is a book about a young girl named Anna who is travelling as a refugee with her mama, papa and brother Max. Her father goes to Czech Republic at the start on his own, but that's the least of the important. The family are in different countries throughout the book: Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France and England. Bombs on Aunt Dainty is the next in the Hitler Trilogy novels, so please read that if you love this book as much as I do!

This was a fiction book but it was based on a real-life event about the author Judith Kerr and how she escaped Germany during the inter war. I liked it because I learned about different European countries during 1933 - 1935. They left because her Father was wanted by the Nazis..... Judith and her brother had to leave everything they knew to protect their Father.

Amazing!

I rate it a 3 because there are not that many pictures. It would be scary if they were forced to move because of the Nazis. They lost all their stuff and annas favourite toy rabbit.France was safe but Anna and her brother had to learn French and go to French school so I bet it was really hard. I would recommend it to 10 and over (even though i am 9)

It was interesting to read a war story that was based on the authors life experience. It was similar to an autobiography but it was a novel. It was an eye opener to understand how Hitler forced people to leave their homeland and restart their lives with next to nothing. I liked Max because he learnt a new language to fit in and liked fishing. Mama tried to keep the children safe and follow her husbands advice. The father was a reporter and so he was on Hitlers most wanted ist. He had to flee for his life but he was brave enough to continue to write for the newspaper. It was interesting to see how a refugee feels and how the lead up to the war affected peoples lives. I would recoomend this to someone else it was a book on my high school year 7 reading list.
