A new baby can make for a busy family, but the Gags machine is always there to help out.

A new baby means a hectic household for the whole family. Luckily Gags, the narrator’s grandmother, is always around to help – turning into the Gags machine when the house is in need of a good clean and dinner must be made. But Gags also has time for fun stuff like playing dress up and going to the park. And when there is so much to pack for the family holiday to the beach, Gags is a great help too – but everyone soon learns that even Gags machines need a rest.

Gags is the sort of grandma that everyone loves – busy, funny and full of fun. Young readers will love hearing about her antics. Those who don’t have a grandma like Our Gags will definitely want one.

I like that they had a caravan and they took it to the beach! Gags was my favourite character as she was a machine! Without her they wouldn’t make a good team. Wouldn’t really recommend it because it’s too exciting…!

I like this book because there was a family which had a baby boy and the family is called the Gags and it is about the family It is fiction I don't have a favourite character it isn't factual I would recommend this book because they go to the park and the beach and live in a caravan

This is an exelent book for me because my great-grandma is who we call gags! Im this story gags does lots of house work, (just like ours) but loves to play. (Just like ours!)

There are lots of funny bits in this book.... One of my favourites is When the girl sniffs the baby's bottom to check there isn't any nasty surprises !
