This is a lovely book. Lovely illustrations. My favourite character is Precious. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Recommended for 7+.

I have enjoyed this book so much it has been lovely to read!my favourite character is the meerkat because he is brave and smart I would recommend it to everybody.

This was a lovely book, because it's all about an african girl who solves a mystery about meerkats. It's interesting, because it informs you about African life.

There was a meerkat, called Kosi, who was very, very brave. One of the reasons he was very brave, was when a snake curled around his owner's grandfather, he tricked the snake into making himself look like a meal. The snake then chased Kosi and when it was about to strike, Kosi jumped out of the way and the snake's fangs fell into the ground!! The book made me learn more about the animals and people that live Botswana!

it is an easy read and gives you a background story of what precious was like as a kid before she grew up and became a profesional detective in the detectives series for older readers called the Ladie's detective series

You should read this book because it is about friendship and teamwork. It is a great book for all ages because even my little sister really enjoyed it.
