I loved it because it was a peculiar mystery. It looked like the thief was going to be so obvious but he remained hidden until the very end. The find-outers almost give up at the end but they have a brainwave. They solved another mystery though it took a very odd idea. They are even cleverer than the local policeman, Mr Goon. Mr Goon hates these children all because they solve every mystery instead of him. He gets mad because the Inspector is the children's friend. The Inspector encourages the find-outers which makes Mr Goon outrageous. I can't wait to read the next book!

A really good book! I liked it when they figured out who was the thief. My favorite characters were Bets, Daisy, Larry, Fatty and Buster.
