I thought this was amazing it is good for age 10+ it is an action packed book, that puts into perspective bravery and the courage to have when there are no adults about. A few young children live in an supposedly haunted hotel which their parents own, as the hotel gains pitiful, they decide to sell it. The children don't want this to happen so after the move to their horrible new schools, they decide to run back where dangerous things are occuring.

This book is set on the beach in a old hotel called The Dodo Hotel. Three children are moved from there beloved house/hotel and sent to a boarding school which there aunt Mad paid for. But Miranda, Call and Jack get there journey going the wrong way round as Jack complicates it with his stubbornness. The children have creepy arrivals at their doorstep, but what looks like ordinary people can be deceiving. With a ghost running the roof, crazy guests coming and three children running the show the Dodo Hotel has a strange time. All is to be unexpected. This book is truly amazing and I hope other people feel the same as well. Ally Kennon is a great author. I recommend this book for ten to twelve year olds.

It is a fun and exciting book which includes mystery, adventure and happiness. This book is really good as it is about three children, Miranda, Callum (Call) and Jack (his nicknames Jackie). They get up to mischievous things but things turn strange and they fear they are being spied on! After being told about big changes there life's changes but Jackie is stubborn and doesn't like the way things will turn out. He makes a few arrangements that change their plans things get bumpy for the three children and they end up in a sticky situation. I give it 5/5 and recommend it for 9 to 11 year olds. this book is great and keeps you on your toes.

The book is about a ten year old who runs a hotel with friends. Lots of weird things happen. I found the story too unrealistic and couldn't imagine it happening.
