Second in the hilarious new series for young readers from Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver. It’s time for Moorepark Middle School’s annual Speak Out Challenge, and Billy Broccoli thinks he’s got it made. With his best friend Hoover Porterhouse (aka the Hoove) by his side, Billy’s got the competition in the bag.

This was a good book. About a ghost. Billy Broccoli was a competition which is called the SOC competition and Billy gets an idea from the Hoove, that`s the name of the ghost and the idea is reading minds but he does not actually know how to but here are his plans:When he does it in his English class ,the Hoove is in here and tells Billy what he is doing. Luckily it worked and he got to the finals. They practise in Billy`s house and Breeze, Billy`s sister her, band practises in the basement and the Hoove turns the wardrobe on and they go. They all practise in Billy`s room. The other two finalists are Ricardo , captain of the baseball team and Ruby. When they finished Ricardo offered Billy to have a sleepover and go too Dodgers Stadium. The Hoove could not go because it was way out of his boundaries. They all had a good time there. On the day the Hoove did not come so Billy was in the bathroom but in the end he came back but Billy did the 'saying the alphabet backwards but he did not win. He let his team down. The Hoove got a present from Billy when he went Dodgers Stadium The Hoove was going to stay with Billy although he was a bit annoying
