Tom's new helper was a familiar friend called Marc. The medicine for his mother was cactus juice. Komodo lived under the black sand. Komodo the lizard king fell off a cliff and died into mini lizard kings. Komodo had his tail cut off by Elenna's hunting knife. Tom sadly lost his sword and Elenna's hunting knife in the dark,black sand.

I really liked this book because I have read some beast quest books before so I wanted to read more of them. I have bought some more of this series too and I want to read rashouk the cave troll next. I liked the bit where they had to defeat the komodo dragon.

I liked Komodo the best because he can reattach his tail if an enemy grabs it.

What I thought about this book is fabulous! The main characters are Tom,Elenna,Silver and Storm.My favourite character was Tom because he was brave and he would risk anything to save his mother.Yes I will recommend this book to others because it has anbitious vocabulary and will boost use of different type of instruments in reading and writing.
