There are 3 children who get a train 5o the country because they are moving from the city. When they get there, they help with chores and are really excited. One day they ask their mum if they can explore and she says yes, so they find a wood that whispers and feels magical. When they go back a few days later, they take a picnic and hear some rustling and find some gnomes sat on toadstools talking. The children follow the gnomes as they climb the faraway tree. Every time the children climb the tree, they reach a different land at the top and have lots of adventures!

I would recommend this book because it’s fun. My favourite character is Mr Whatsizname because he can’t remember his name. And I loved reading this book. Thank you Mummy for getting it for me. I’m happy to read it again another year or it might take 2. Maybe a bit more texture to it. And it might be better. My favourite land is the land of treats because it has lots of treats and also the land of sweets because it has lots of sweets.
