The second book. This was probably my least favourite, although that's saying a lot about the other books because this one is really good! The journey was interesting- all the different clues and answers were really clever. The guy who wrote this has an amazing brain for thinking up all those clever riddles and clues! My favourite is still Constance because she just is so funny! I recommend it 100% to anyone who's read the first book, and to anyone who hasn't I recommend the first book then this one. (Then the other two then the prequel!)

This book was amazing. The plot was complex and action packed. As the characters raced through the story facing many obstacles the anticipation was palpable through the pages and as the tale reached its climax and a surprising twist sent the hope of a happy ending into doubt the author builds up to that final moment wonderfully and calls upon many apparently unimportant events that occurred throughout the book to guide the characters through the end.

This second book in the mysterious Benedict Society series was awesome - I particularly loved reading about when the society have to go to the island where Mr Benedict and Number Two are held captive and save them, I love that they manage to foil the evil Mr Curtain's plots yet again!!!

In this book Mr Benedict gets kidnapped and The Mysterious Benedict Society goes on a journey, following clues to find him. My favourite character is Kate as she is resourceful, talented and she can do a lot of things that other people can't. I would recommend this series to my cousin Oliver. This book was very intresting and engaging and I really enjoyed it.

I love this book series! When I first saw the TV series on Disney plus I loved it. When I saw it was based on a book I knew I Had to read them! I'm now on the third book in the series and it just gets better and better. It's a great mystery and adventure story. I would definitely recommend it!
