Andrew Cope was born in Derby in 1966. He is a teacher, writer and a huge fan of Derby County football club. He really does have a dog called Lara who has one sticky-up ear and came from the RSPCA, but he’s not sure if she is actually a highly trained secret agent. Andrew lives with his wife and two children. This is his first book.

I didn’t really enjoy this book, I think maybe if I’d have read the series in order I might have liked it more. I liked Lara because she is really talented. I really liked the part where Lara makes the bad man have really bad wind! I am not to sure if I would recommend it, I might to a friend but only if they like spy’s.

This dog is amazing, Lara goes on adventures. This time the dog nappers tried to steal all the dogs and selling them on.

I thought it was ok but not brilliant. I liked the main character Lara - she is a dog! It was a bit boring so I'm not sure if I would recommend it.

It is funny. My favourite character is Lara because she is clever funny. My second favourite character is sophie because she is kind,quiet,loves her pet.i found it exciting.

This amazing book is very adventurous ! I have to say that Lara is a very unusual dog because I know that she isn't a normal dog because who's heard of a dog that can surf ? Well read Spy Dog and then you will know!
