I would recommend this book for horse loving young readers. In this story a young girl called Pippa goes on holiday to the beach with her family. She is very surprised when she points out the two large seahorses in the sea and no one else has seemed to notice them. The seahorses, who are called Rosella and Triton gently explain that the island Chevalia is in great danger and only a true horse lover can help them. Is Pippa this girl? With the help of Princess Pony Stardust, Pippa is on a quest to find the 8 missing horseshoes before the island sinks into the sea and disappears for ever! This book is an exciting start to a series of great books - not to be missed.

I liked Stardust the pony because she was tall and she had nice clips on her. Somebody daughter stole magic horse shoes and they were very mean. I didn’t like them. It had a happy ending because they found one of the seven horse shoes.

I think this was an excellent book and my favourite character was Princess Stardust. I would recommend this book to others and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.
