Loved the explanation to this book, would recommend but kinda creepy and scary at the same time which is why I don't entirely give it five stars.

I would recommend it to 7 to 10 year olds because it has poison in it.

I liked it because the mother was actually trying to save the baby instead of sucking it's blood out.

I really love this book and I got drew to it that I finished it in a night. I love the method of how Holmes solves the mystery and I admire the odd bit of attack but not to much .It makes us tense but overall I love it.

The mother was ill and that is why she didn't want to tell the secret.

This story was about vampires as the name suggests .it was about a vampire sucking someone's blood .at first they thought that the mother sucks the baby's blood but it actually turns out to somebody else.

It was a rollercoaster of suspense about revealing the truth about a kind loving wife or so they thought until Sherlock Holmes uncovers what the reason for the mystery was.Is there really something called a vampire? It is a fiction book.I liked Watson because he helped the wife of Mr Richmond Ferguson as he was the only on allowed to see this lady. She would not see anyone until Doctor Watson stepped in and helped out with this unsolvable mystery or is it? Read the book to find out more. A definite recommendation for ages 9-12
