It is a non fiction book so it doesn't actually have a main character. It is also fact book which tells you about the earthquakes which had happened in the past. Fun Fact-Japan had one of the largest earthquake measured a 9 on the Ritcher Scale.

I picked out this book from school and really enjoyed it! It was interesting to learn about the impact of some of the most well-known earthquakes from history such as the San Francisco ‘quake from 1906. It was also great to read about stories of survival and tips on what to do in an earthquake.

I think it is a very interesting book, teaches you as much as 5 boring geography lessons but is as fun as many other books and I enjoyed reading this book. My favorite character was John Milne because he was very helpful in the world of earthquakes. It interested me because it teaches you many things and also has humor tingling it's spine. I would recommend it to people who like non-fiction books and people who like funny books from age 8
