The summer holidays are dragging on and Harry Potter can’t wait for the start of the school year. It is his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and there are spells to be learnt and (unluckily) Potions and Divination lessons to be attended. But Harry can’t know that the atmosphere is darkening around him.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth book in the Harry Potter series, and it’s absolutely amazing! In this book, Harry is unexpectedly entered into the Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous competition between three wizarding schools. I found it really exciting to see how Harry had to face three challenging tasks, and it made me cheer for him all the way through, even though I wish both he and Cedric could have won. My favourite characters in this book are the Weasley twins, Fred and George, Cho Chang, and Cedric Diggory. The Weasley twins are hilarious as always! They are always pulling pranks and making jokes, which makes the story so much fun. I love their creativity, especially when they sell their joke products. Cho Chang is also a great character; she is kind and plays for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, which I think is really cool. Cedric Diggory is brave and charming, and I really liked how he treated Harry with respect. He’s a true friend! One of the most interesting parts of this book is learning about other schools of magic. The arrival of students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang is so exciting! I loved discovering how different their magic is and how their schools operate. It made the wizarding world feel much bigger and more magical. As the story goes on, things get really intense, especially during the final task of the Triwizard Tournament. I was on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t believe what happened at the end. I was really sad when Cedric died. It was such a heartbreaking moment, and I couldn’t believe Voldemort was back. Cedric didn’t deserve that at all! His death made the story feel so serious and showed how dangerous things were getting. I was sad they couldn't find a way to bring him back like they saved Sirius in The Prisoner of Azkaban. I would definitely recommend Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to anyone who loves adventures, magic, and friendship. It’s a fantastic read with lots of thrilling moments.

I really love the Harry Potter films and this book exceeded what I expected with S.P.E.W and more house elves that weren't in the films. From Harry's connected dreams with Voldemort to Wormtail still being alive and Lucius still being a death eater and Fudge not believing Harry and the Polyjuice Potions is awesome and very thrilling to read with a constant level of suspension. I would definitely recommend!!

Amazing book and my favourite part is how they described the scenes and the characters plus the bit where the echoes come out of Voldemort's wand.

I really enjoyed it because it was really long so I could enjoy it for longer. I also enjoyed how Harry temporarily defeated Voldemort. It was the best Harry Potter book I've read so far. I'm waiting to read the last three books next year
