Genie in Training

I thought this was a good book because it had lots of magic involved and the school bully Dabir was forced to do chores in the academy. He had shrunk Jamie (a human) who released Balfazar the Genie from a Tea Pot when he wished to become a Genie and put him in a lamp. The book was full of funny, magial and exciting adventures from start to finish. I would recommend this book to other children.

I thought the book was brilliant! I think Balthazar was really funny from the beginning till the end. Especially that bit at the end where he saves himself from falling. I loved all of it!

A kid named Jamie gets a teapot for his birthday and finds Bazazar the genie. He wished to be a formula one racer,have a never ending bowl of ice cream and accidentally wished to be a genie and learn at the genie academy. It,s a good read

At that time it was the best book I had ever read! I picked it out of the Year 3 home reader box at school. It had some great personalities and characters such as Balthazar Najar, a genie trapped inside a teapot. I would recommend this to children who like imagination, adventure, school and mishaps.

I definitely recommend this book. The story is very captivating, about Genie world, how magic works, and the description of each characters. I am going to read Genie in Trouble next! There are 3 Genie series in total.
