It was lovely and funny at the end there were some bits I didn't like like when the cat and aunt changed but the rest I loved. The book was fiction. My favorite character was the cat because i love animals.A bit i found interesting was when the girl tried to swim in the pond.I would recommend this book for you.

This book is about two children who lived with Aunt Tab and she has lots of treacle in her house (even her pond is made of treacle!) and then they find out she is a witch!

I think kids should read this book because it's adventurous especially when the children are stuck in the yellow, creamy, pond.
