I think this is a great book with many twists and surprises in, the gripping tale of eragon continues into this book and leaves even more questions in your mind. I like Angela the herboligist because of the riddles she tells and her hidden character that makes you wander weather she is good or evil. Murtagh is funny and wise and leaves a trail of mystery and destruction wherever he goes. Arya is a stunning character and the description leaves a clear image of her in my head. Orik is amazing and humorous. Roran has a persuasive character and is very determined. I would recommend this book to older children and adults.

I liked reading it because of the fantasy world and the adventures of the dragon riders. there are four riders in this book two good and two bad. the main character is called Eragon shadeslayer and he has a blue dragon called Saphira. I would recommend this book for people who like dragons and fantasy.
