One of a series of adventures featuring Hal and Roger Hunt. The boys are searching for exotic sea-life and they have a mission to collect pearls from the oyster-beds of a secret lagoon. But do the crew and passengers of ""Lively Lady"" know more than they should? Can they be trusted?

Omo is my favourite character in this book. The best bit was on the deserted island when they had nothing to eat or drink. But then they found water and food.

I got a lot about surviving and building shelters and why you can't trust people like Keggs. It gave a lot of inspiration to me and my favourite person was omo.

South Sea Adventure is the second book in the series, following the adventures of Hal and Roger Hunt. In this book, Hal and Roger are stuck on a desert island with their friend Omo when a man called Kaggs stole their boat and left them to die. They built a raft to use to escape the island, and caught fish to eat while they sailed to safety. My favourite part was when they caught a giant sea bat, which is like a sting ray but much bigger. I would recommend it to anyone who likes making rafts, or reading about sea creatures.
