I haven't read a Anthony Mcgowan book before but I'm glad I did when I visted the libary! I enjoyed this book so much that a gave it a rate of 5 out of 5 this book is funny, stupid [ in a good way ] and dirffrent which is what I like about it! It's about these group of children who are all apart of the same gang, " the bare bum gang" the mebers of the gang are, Noah, Jamie, Jenifar Phillip and Ludo! I recomend this book for 7 years and older!

Someone is snatching all the dogs and they try and get them back, the main character has a dog who helps. It was quite mysterious as they didn't know who the snatcher was. It didn't take me long as I really enjoyed reading it.

you should read this book because it's funny in some parts and this dog called rude word (rudy for short) is given to a boy called ludo and ludo introduces him to a gang in the forest nearby called the bare bum gang and outside the gang the dog is sick and he barfs out a leg and they think he's been eating other pets because at school everybody has lost there pets!
