I loved this book so much I wish everyone had the chance to read it. It’s a great book about being different and accepting difference. Barnaby brocket can float and need s a bag to keep him to the ground. His parents don’t like difference and so the let him drift up into the sky. On his way, he will meet two women who were outcast from their family, a boy with hooks for hands, a reporter, who has terrible burn scars, a woman who talks backward, a man with no nose and no ears, a girl who disappears when she sneases, a boy who has flippers for feet, a man running from his family and some astronauts who have been cast out of their families. A warm hearted story about accepting difference. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

It about a boy called barnaby who floats and his parents hate him because he isn’t normal. My favourite character is the dog, captain W.E. Jones.

This book is very funny and sad at the same time. However,I did enjoy though. My favourite character was Captain W.E Johns ( he was a dog ) because he always wanted to stay with his love master Barnaby. I recommend this book to someone with siblings or a dog. Or someone who likes stories about people. It has a happy ending and Barnaby met lots of friends along the way. So there was always new people in the book.
