The Factory Made Boy
Christine Nostlinger
Mrs Bartolotti is quite used to receiving surprises in the post as she’s very forgetful! But this one beats the lot – Conrad, a perfect, factory-made child who never does anything wrong. And when the men from the factory realise that the child has been delivered to the wrong address, they come to take him back. Conrad doesn’t want to go. So Mrs Bartolotti comes up with a plan, and Conrad is unrecognisable . . .
Reviews

It was a clever plan to change the product to make it bad.

Really nice. It was about a boy who was made in a factory and was sent to the wrong address and he was a very good boy who was clever, friendly and healthy. Mrs Bartoliti never knew it wasn't her's. The boy Conrad was happy with a girl Kitty until they hear it's not there's so they make him naughty. In the end I think that Conrad becomes nice.
