Reviews

I enjoyed reading this book as it was more of a challenge to my reading. I only needed help with a couple of words. Ted thought the sheepdog was silly as it didn't listen to him, but when the boy whistles to him, he does what he wants and so he wasn't silly after all.

I liked the silly sheepdog because he thought he had to round up all the animals - the pigs and the chickens and the sheep!

This book is so good because my nanny had a dog called missy that was patch. It was funny that the dog didn’t do as it was told because they wasn’t whistling. My friends would like this book too.

There are loads of funny bits in this book. I liked finding the ducks at the end as well. The sheepdog turned out not to be silly when he found his owner.

I enjoy the Apple Tree farm books, the dog is fun and starts off being silly but is soon very useful.
