Matilda

I enjoyed the book . It was really funny My favourite character was Matilda because she could make things float without using her hands but her eyes. She focused on it really hard then it started rising into the air. The funniest part was when Mrs Trunchball (the headteacher who hated children) grabbed a little girl by her ponytails and launched her over the school playground fence because she didn't like the girls hair. The little girl just came strolling back into the playground dazed and confused. I didn't like Matilda's parents because they didn't care about her at all. Her teacher Miss Honey was very kind and they formed a great bond.

I really liked it as even though Matilda had parents who didn’t like reading and only liked TV, Matilda went to the library to get books to read so she could be clever.

Matilda is a very gifted child but her parents, Mr and Mrs Wormwoods, are horrible to her and they always watch tv all the time. when she gets transferred to a revolting school she must use her mind and her new friends. I think in my opinion the best part is when matilda got revenge on her parents.The story was super interesting, I kept turning the page because I wanted to know what happened next! The characters were very realistic Although the school was a bit hard to believe! I suggesting the book to people that like to see what is next in the story.

It is a fiction book. It is about Matilda. Her mum, dad and brother were naughty and rude to Matilda because she liked to read books instead of watching television. Miss Trunchball is mean to all the children in her school. Miss Honey is kind. I would not ask my friends to read it because I didn't like it. I didn't like Matilda's family and the mean teacher.

I think that I like Matilda best because of her heroic deeds in the book and I find it weird that a girl her age is so incredibly smart and I am also amazed with how many books she has read. The story was interesting for me because of the fun story when a school teacher is so poor and an aunt can be so incredibly rough, angry and mean. Yes, because it perfectly matches a 7-8 year old book range and because the book is very interesting and I think everybody will think the same.

This book was the best I’ve ever read. When matilda puts glue inside her fathers hat. Its a funny book. And my favourite character was the boy from school called Bruce.

The book was fiction and my favourite character is Matilda because she rose to the challenge to try and avenge Miss Honey and give her back what is rightfully hers and I am happy to know that Matilda got to live in a happy family after all. I would only recommend this book to some people
