Gripping, exciting and a bit scary at the start. The story changes as you go through it though, and a huge secret is uncovered!

This book is a mixture of horror and mystery. Josh and his sister, Jinty have to take the risk of finding out what was in the house on shadows lane and to make sure they dont run into someone while doing so. This book is sure to be a favorite for all. This book is sure to give you spook and a scare. So go on read it.

A bit of slow read, takes time to get started. Set just after world war 2. Two children - brother and sister come across a spooky house and are intrigued to who lives there but scared at the same time. They do find out who lives there. It was an OK read but I didn't find it exciting

It is good but it can get a bit long and boring. I suggest you be 11 or over to read this book because it can get very detailed with big words. It was fine for me though and i am 10. My favourite part was the first chapter because it summed the story up.
