Dear friends, I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE sharing my adventures as a classroom hamster with all my friends. But sometimes my paw gets tired from so much writing! To give it a rest, I’ve written some shorter tales that are every bit as funny and exciting as my According to Humphrey books. They’re called Humphrey’s Tiny Tales and they’ve even got illustrations! (I’m quite pleased at how cute I look in the pictures.) I’m unsqueakably excited to share my new stories with you and I think Humphrey fans and new younger readers will be excited, too! Humphrey gets the surprise of his classroom life when he gets a whizzy hamster racing car. It’s bright red with a stripe down the side and he LOVES-LOVES-LOVES it! He practises as hard as he can, because there’s going to be a pet race. If he tries really hard, will he win?
Humphrey’s in for another fur-raising adventure!

This story is about a hamster name Humphrey. Since he is a class pet, he gets to go home with a different student each weekend. This weekend he went home with “Don’t-Complain-Mandy.” Humphrey was really excited to go to her house because she has a hamster called Winky who was Humphreys friend. When Humphrey got to the house Winky showed him his new car. Now can you imagine if Humphrey had a car aswell? What fun would they have? My favourite part was when Humphrey and Winky had a race in their little cars because it was very entertaining with some unexpected twists and turns and Humphrey had to finish the race without his car. I didn’t like that they only had Golden-Marinda a few times in the book which isn’t really fair. I think this book is suitable for boys and girls because it was full of fun and games. I especially recommend it to animal lover because the hampsters are so cute. I would say it is best for 7-11 years but can be read to younger children. I rate this book a 5/5 because it is entertaining, fun and a good length and I am left excited to read all the other books in the collection.

I liked the book because finally Humphrey got his very own racing car and the racing car had flames which I really liked. My favourite character in the book was Humphrey because he was a cute little hamster.

I liked Humphrey as he didn’t give up in a race with Winky even though Humphrey’s car bashed in a wooden block. Humphrey ran and the race was a tie. Humphrey and Winky are hamsters.

I love this book!! I have small pets at home so it was great! Two hamster’s had a ‘wheely’ race and it was really funny! The characters were ‘unsqueakably’ great!

i would rate you this book because it is very fun and gives you ideas what you could do. There is this hamster called Humphrey and he has different adventures. The adventure he had was that he saw Winky, his friend hamster, has a hamster car so he wanted one to. The pet shop owner made him a hamster car so then in Longfellow School they had a race how would get to the finish line first. There is a frog called Og and The headteacher thought the frog's could have a fish race of which frog would jump the furthest. I hope you have a nice time reading Humphrey's tiny tales!

My favourite was Humphrey and Winky's toy cars. Winky is called Winky because when he was born one of his eyes didn't open. Humphrey and Winky had a race and it was really fun for them. Read it to find out who won!
