I think the book was very funny and nice. It is a fiction book about a dog called Jake. He is very badly behaved. Jake chews up things and loves to scare ducks. Jake tries hard to be good but always ends up being naughty. I feel confused because I feel sorry for Jake and also upset as he is so naughty. I like Jake the best because he makes me laugh a lot. I would recommend this book for all boys and girls.

I love stories about Jake! This is the second book I have read & I would like to read all the books about Jake's adventures. Jake is my favourite character because I like the way he shakes off the mud & water he collects on his fur in the garden. I would love a dog like Jake.

It was great how Jake jumped on the boy to protect Sam. He was brave and it was nice thay he got a medal at the end. It was funny when Jake had underpants on his head.

I thought it was quite sad because Sam in Jake's really good friend and two boys really hurt Sam. But Jake jumped in and jumped on the bad person to stop Sam from being hurt by the knife. Jake had to limp because his back leg got kicked by one of the mean boys. Jake has really wanted to go to crufts, and it was nice that sam and jake got to go to crufts. Jake was my favourite character as he saved Sam's life. I would recommend this to someone else because Sam and Jake get to go to crufts and so despite it being sad, it has a happy ending.

Jake is a good dog but his owners keep on telling him of. But Eddie Price is a villain that does rude things so Sam keeps on getting hurt
