Sheltie and Emma's adventures continue as they come to the rescue when their friend Sally and her pony, Minnow, run away. In the second story, Sheltie is happy when Mudlark the donkey comes to stay and he and Emma are shocked when Mudlark disappears. Emma and Sheltie must bring him back.

I would definitely recommend this fiction book to anyone who loves horsey books, because in the book there are two great stories. In the first story Sheltie helps to show his owner Emma where a missing girl and her horse and then it is down to Sheltie to rescue them. In the second story Emma is looking after a donkey called Mudlark who gets 'stolen' and it seems that only Sheltie is able to find him. My favorite character in this book is Sheltie the Shetland pony, due to his cheeky personality.
