Willow Valley is a very special place. Nestled in a hidden valley, trees of all shapes and sizes grew on the rolling green hills and pretty flowers dance in the meadows. Only the animals who live there know their way in and out, but they hardly ever want to leave because they’re having too much fun!

I think it was a pretty good book and my favourite person is Horotia because I liked what he planned for Riley's birthday and it interested me because the book kept on moving on and I would recommend this book to 8 to 9 years old.

I think this is a very good book! My favourite character is Horatio because as well as being a bit cheeky he is also very kind. I thought it was funny when he tried to tightrope walk! This is a book with friendship, adventures and lots of animals!

i like this book because its the idea of it being about a birthday makes it cheery and joyful. My favourite character is Riley because he's brave and adventurous. i would recommend this book to animal lovers and adventurous bookworms.

I really, really liked this book because it's incredibly exciting and funny. I would recommend this book anyone who likes Willow Valley.

This is a lovely story about animal friends and a birthday party and a boat. Rat's present was a detective kit and he had great adventures with it. I was surprised that the badger buried his treasure I was happy that the rat had a birthday and did some fine detecting
