Carrot Tops and Cotton Tails

A colony of peaceable rabbits live on one side of a hedge. On the other side live the arrogant carrots. The carrots make snide remarks about the rabbits, until the rabbits can't contain themselves and start slaughtering the carrots. And that is why vegetables don't talk - they don't dare!
