I thought this book was nice because Mary-Lou, someone who is scared of everything, swims in water to save her friend from pretending to drown and went in to the dark to save her friend from getting in trouble. I really liked this book so much soI would definitely recommend this book to someone.

Darrell is going to a boarding school and makes friends with Sally and Mary-Lou. But spiteful Gwendoline is trying to make friends with Mary-Lou but to make Darrell unpopular. Darrell has a beastly temper. Will she keep it under control.
