Penguin's Progress
Jill Tomlinson, Susan Hellard
Otto is a penguin chick and he lives with lots of other penguins in the snow of Antarctica. But Otto is different from all the other chicks he knows – he is the ""first chick"", so it is his job to look after all the younger ones as they grow up. By the author of ""The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark"".

This was my favourite book so far. Otto was my favourite character, I really liked the last chapter where he learned how to do the penguin leap. l really like Emperor Penguins and have seen them do this on the tv. I have recommended this book to my brother.

A good book to sit and enjoy in a corner quietly and get lost on the book in your own world.

I like this book because little chicks grow into large chicks that can dive into the sea and catch their own food.

You can't put this book down and it has good punctuation and powerful verbs. The book makes you emotional and is very good to understand.
