I think that the book was fiction because the book was about a 2 kids that go to a forest to find shadow creatures and gems. Which makes me think that the story is not true. She wants to stop the shadow creatures releasing more shadow creatures in their world, by trying to get the key and all the gems. I would recommend others to read this book.
