There was once a cow, who was always miserable; and a lamb who tried to cheer her up. But the cow was impossible to cheer up! Even Father Christmas was too jolly for her. The poor lamb burst into tears himself, and wallowed in misery. Finally the cow started to miss him, and gave him the best birthday present ever, a great big grin!

I like this book. Misery moo is always grumpy and sad, her friend lamb tries to cheer her up. With his attempts unsuccessful, he decided to stop trying and not see her anymore. Moo then realises how happy she was having lamb around with everything he did for her and goes to find him.

It was a great book. I especially loved the part where the cow had a great big smile on her face, she looked very funny.

It was good. I liked the rhyme. I was sad when the cow was sad. But the lamb was his friend. He just needed a friend.

I loved the dog sheep the best. I liked they made up and we’re best friends again at the end. It’s so funny when the cow makes cover for the dog sheep when it rains. Yes I would recommend it to my friends
