This is a fun book , i liked it because the hamster is very funny, he eats sneezes and burps. I couldn't put it down and can't wait to read the rest of the series

A very funny story with lots of laughs and facts to learn. I liked the character Dumpling the hamster the best. He got up to loads of trouble and always made me laugh. He always managed to cause trouble even if he didn't mean to. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes animals with a bit of history mixed in.

I listened to this book as an audio and really enjoyed it. The story is about a boy who gets an amulet from his uncle and wishes for a pet but becomes a person who has to help pets pass over to the afterlife.
