Dr Seuss's heartwarming tale of Horton the kindly elephant and the Whos of Who-ville, performed by Miranda Richardson with added music and sound effects. Horton has his work cut out saving the Whos who live on a speck of dust-no one else believes they're there! But Horton eventually convinces everyone that a person's a person, no matter how small!

I rate this book 5 stars because it is a very, very, very exciting book because Horton the elephant finds a tiny speck and then he notices that there is a little voice coming from the speck. He then saw that it's a mayor from Whoville. They become friends, but a kangaroo was not very kind to Horton and said "There was nothing there". Even the smallest thing can be real.

I read this all by myself! It was really long! It was good because the little people on the speck of dust persevered to make as much noise as they could make themselves heard and not put in beezlenut stew.

Very imaginative. And sends out such a big message, a person is a person how big or how small. Also very clever. Do recommend.

I really liked it when the kangaroos and monkeys thought there was nobody there but there was really a whole town full of people on the speck on the flower.
