I enjoyed this story and it reminded me of the song of the town mouse and country mouse.

Timmy Willie mouse visits the town and the food is too rich and he prefers the country. Johnny town mouse decided it to visit countryside but preferred the town.

I thought this book was actually quite lovely. I liked the fact that the author, Beatrix Potter said that “one place suits one person, another lace suits another person.” I’m used to living in an urban area with loud noises, busy streets and people, but sometimes I imagine the peaceful and calming countryside and wish that I was really over there. I recommend this book to basically anyone but it is rather sad when you find out and realise that the town mice friends die.
