Billionaire Boy
David Walliams, Tony Ross
A hilarious, touching and extraordinary new fable from David Walliams, number one bestseller and one of the fastest growing children’s author across the globe. Joe has a lot of reasons to be happy. About a billion of them, in fact. You see, Joe's rich. Really, really rich. Joe's got his own bowling alley, his own cinema, even his own butler who is also an orangutan. He's the wealthiest twelve-year-old in the land. But Joe isn't happy. Why not? Because he's got a billion pounds… and not a single friend. But then someone comes along, someone who likes Joe for Joe, not for his money. The problem is, Joe's about to learn that when money is involved, nothing is what it seems. The best things in life are free, they say – and if Joe's not careful, he's going to lose them all…

It was good I liked the fact it taught you that money doesn’t matter it is love that matters

Billionaire boy is a really funny book, it is mainly a action-packed, emotional book. The main plot is that a humble boy's humble father invents something that makes him a billionaire. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes books by David Walliams . In general, it's a good book. :D

Joe spud has it all: private helicopter, coaching by man united, 2 alligators. Everything apart from a friend. Joe decides to go to the local school instead and makes a friend (who is called bob, and is roughly the same weight as joe, which is definitely something) but when bob finds out that joe is paying the school bullies to stop going for him, he falls out with the billionaire boy and, well, I don’t want to give it away so you’re going to have to read the book to find out the rest. this is a great book and I would definitely recommend it.

This book was funny and it was very interesting. It was a bout a boy called Joe who is a billionaire who transfers into a new school because the boys in the last bullied him. He goes to a new school and finds a friend but the friendship is ruin for a while and then Joe dad thinks money can solve anything. However he and Joe end up with no money as Mr Spud's latest project was a failure. Joe and his go to live with his friend Bob and Mr Spud fell in love with Bob's mum and the two friends later became stepbrothers. My favourite character was Bob because he helped his friend no matter what fight happens between them.I would recommend it to someone else because this book was really funny and interesting.

I thought this book was boring but funny. I didn't like the showing off. They were choosing money over love. But in the end the dad learnt his lesson and they were happy.

It is a non-fiction book which makes you realise that if you have everything that money can buy it can’t buy you everything. The main character Joe Spud was spoilt at the start but wasn’t by the end. I really enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone who likes fun stories.
