I like this book because it is about a snake who stays at a little girl's house. The little girl is called Polly and the snake is called Doris. Doris plays tricks on Polly and I like that part of the story because it makes me laugh.

I loved reading this book.The characters in this story are Doris, the snake and guinea pigs.The small child,Emily in the story wanted Doris to stay at their home because Jack was going on a holiday.But security guard didn't allow snake to enter the place.Hence Jack send Doris to Emily's house. Emily had a nice time with the snake and the guinea pigs. I would recommend this story to my friends.

I thought it was a great book because the snake escaped and when Polly went to get the hose to fill up the pond she found that there were two hoses but actually one of them was Doris the snake! I like Doris the best character because she is so good at disguising her self as a hose. I would defiantly recommend it to someone else.

I really liked this book as there were two hamsters owned by a girl called Katie. Katie gives the hamsters to Polly and Katie things both the hamsters are boys - but Ben is really fat and Bill is really thin. But katie got it wrong because Bill is a boy, but Ben is a boy - and she isn't fat - she has babies. So they change her name from Ben to Jen and Polly asks if she can keep one of the baby hamsters. I liked Jeannie - which is Polly's hamster who is light brown haired. I would recommend this to someone else because it's funny that they think Ben is a boy when he's actually a girl!

This is an excellent book, I really enjoyed it because there are animals in it. Polly was my favourite character, she thought the snake had eaten the guinea pigs and then one was missing. I liked discovering what happened and I liked the pictures.

I liked it when the baby guinea pigs were born. I liked it when the snake was delivered to their house. I recommend that other people read it because the baby guinea pigs are really cute!
