This was my first more grown up book and it was amazing. I was quite shocked because someone actually dies, which I was not expecting but it was so good. I needed to be told about some characters as they were from time periods that I haven't learnt about yet. It was really exciting. I can't wait to read the rest! My favourite character is Sabian, the sabertooth cub. So cute!!

I enjoyed the time travel and how Uncle Percy's friend actually turned out to be evil and he faked his death by going on a plane and killing people with a bomb.

This is a really exciting book about two children who travel through time with their uncle to try and change history. I would recommend this book to children aged 9 and above.
