This book was very short but it was good.

I would recommend this to someone else, it’s interesting and a different type of story.

I would highly recommend this book, the book was about Pluto who was the ruler of the kingdom of death who wanted a wife. It talks about how he kidnapped Persephone and made her eat special pomegranate seeds which gave her the option to stay in the kingdom or to be free on earth. The Atlanta’s race is about a girl who is the fastest runner and whoever wins against her will get to marry her. They are very good stories it was so interesting! I loved them and read it so quick because it was that good

This book is about Demeter who had a daughter called Persephone and she gets stollen by a God called Pluto. The part of the story that I liked the most was when Persephone had to stay in the underworld for 6 month a year and because of this we have seasons. I would consider this book to be fiction so I think will be suitable to someone that enjoys reading about Gods stories.

I like Greek myths and this is about how Haydes got his wife by stealing someone. The other story was called Atalanta’s Race where someone called Hippomems won a race against Atalanta to get married her because of her beauty.

I normally don't read mythology books because I don't normally find them very interesting and I usually find it hard to get gripped to them but I really enjoyed this book. This was about the God of the underworld seeing this girl called Persephone and wanting her to be his queen. He quickly came out of the underworld and grabbed Persephone and took her with him. The rule is that is you eat any food in the underworld that you will have to stay there forever. Another God saw this and ask her if she had eaten anything. Persephone had eaten 6 pomegranate seeds as she was so hungry. She really wanted to go back up and see her mother so the god that saw this happen, went to the chief and told him. As she had eaten 6 pomegranate seeds she got to spend 6 months with her mother and 6 months in the underworld.

The book had two stories and my favourite one was Atalanta's Race, because Hippomenes tricked Atalanta and won the race and got her as his bride. I would recommend this book to someone else.

I liked this story because it used brilliant words to describe things like he kicked it aside like a dog. I like how it explained summer and winter too.
