Dustbin Baby
Jacqueline Wilson, Nick Sharratt
April knows she was abandoned in a rubbish bin as a newborn baby, fourteen years ago. Now she's happily settled with her foster mother, Marion - but there's a part of April that's desperate to know where she really came from, and who she really is. If only she could remember her real mother - or even find her . . . An engrossing, engaging and highly moving novel from the acclaimed bestseller Jacqueline Wilson.
Reviews

I would recommend this book because it's moral is no matter if you have not got your birth parents you can still be who you are and don't let not having a parent get in your way 5 star rating for sure!

I honestly don't like the book because it is written like scripts. My faverouite bit is when April meets the pizza man and my least faverouite part is the start of the book. The pizza man Because he has the least part No

I personally LOVED it was about 10 year old April as her journey from being dumped in a dustbin to being reunited with Frankie. What I really liked is how Tanya from bad girls is encorperated it this story.

I like this book because it is about a girl who was put in a dustbin when she was a baby. On her 14th birthday, she bunks off of school and goes to visit all of the people from her past. My favourite character in this book is April, the dustbin baby.
Princess Aphrodite Piano-key 29.07.2022

This book was really interesting and made me think again about orphans and being fostered. My favourite character was April Showers because she is similar to me in a way, apart from the fact she got dumped in a dustbin. What interested me the most was when on April’s birthday, she went to find her old foster parents and friends that she had made when she was only little. I would 100% recommend this book to other people.

I liked how it was so different to my life and I learned lots from it
Empress Rose Bubble-wrap 11.09.2021

There are some highs and lows that make the story more interesting. It is about her life story and it is basically her diary.
