this book was about a girl who moves house and tries to make new friend while not liking her new it was fiction my favourite charecter was the main charecter mallory who is a girl and she has a mum and dad and her older brother .

This was an amazing book based on an 8yr old girl who had a best friend names Marianne the two were the best of friends they did everything together, they were almost inseparable. It all starts when Mallory's parents tell her they are moving. Mallory is devastated by this news and begs her parents to let her stay! When she tells her best friend Marianne she makes them both promise to never be friends with the boy next door that means if there was any boy living next door to them they could never be friends. A few days later Mallory's leaving party takes place it was full of laughter cries and full of joy which made this special for Mallory. When they move to Farren Falls she breaks that promise and becomes friends with a boy. When Marianne comes to visit the boy tells her that Mallory never mentioned or talked about who Marianne was she was shocked and confused but just said she was her bff read the book to find out what happens next!

Its a good book, helps you no moving isn't as scary because there is a good happy ending, and you can still keep old and new friends. Its was a nice read and has good morals to the story.
