In this book the pony detectives find out who is letting horses out of their fields during the misty weather and scaring them. My favorite horse in this fiction book was Dancer because she was brave enough to try and prevent Stormchaser, a very valuable polo horse, from getting hurt after he was released from his stable and frighted into a 'flight response' and was running out of control towards a cattle grid. I would recommend this book to any one who enjoys horse stories but is able to cope with the sad bits. I would not recommend this book to children who love animals and get very upset/cry when they are hurt or die.
