Girls in Tears
Jacqueline Wilson, Nick Sharratt
Ellie, Magda and Nadine are back – but they’re not very happy. Ellie’s romance with Russell is teetering on the rocks. Magda’s lost her pet. Nadine is fed up with the other two lecturing her about the dangers of meeting someone on the Internet. She thinks her e-mail boyfriend sounds wonderful. Can the girls’ friendship survive these testing times?
Reviews
This is the fourth and final book in the series. I enjoyed this book at the same level as the others in the series, but this one was more dramatic than the others and tests the relationship of Magda, Nadine and Ellie, the inseparable three. The author left it on a cliffhanger when Ellie was meeting up with her ex- boyfriend and considering getting back together with him. I wouldn’t recommend it to young readers because the girls are in year nine, but it is an engrossing series to read and I was tempted to put 5 stars instead, but decided there is always room for improvement.

I liked this book a lot. This book actually made me really sad, because every chapter is a new reason of why girls cry, and all of these reasons are valid. This book makes me realise that you may not realise why a girl is crying/sad, because there are so many different reasons. My favourite character is Anna, Ellie's stepmother because she isn't like those fairy tale step mothers, and also, she is supportive to Ellie and realises that Ellie's father is a real jerk. I recommend this book to someone who likes teen dramas and someone who is not in the best position right now, because this book is the best thing for people who need a good cry.

I personaly like the main character. Things are going wrong in her family and her boyfriend is getting snappy but she still manages to keep positive. I would reccomed this book to anyone above the age of ten.

This is the fourth and final book in the series. I enjoyed this book but I was sad that it was the last one. I still find Ellie’s character the most interesting and she has been my favourite all the way through. I would recommend this book to age 10+

This is a book I would recommend to children above the ages of 13. It's about a girl called Ellie who is having trouble in her life as she starts to drift apart from her childhood friend! But one day when going to a party Ellie sees something that she had never expected to happen!...
