Reviews

It is a very good book but sad at times.

I don’t think it started off that exciting but as if got further into the book it’s starting to get more exciting. I love the bit when they go into the secret passage in the walls. Silvia was my favorite character in the book. If they liked things about old fashion times in old English then yes, I really would recommend it, if not I don’t think they would enjoy it.

This was a very good book. There were parts of it which were miserable but all very engaging. My favourite character was Simon who is a boy living in a cave who keeps geese. He’s a friend of Bonnie and is very funny. He is wild and longs to live with wolves.

The book was very interesting and detailed. The book was about the good characters Bonnie and Sylvia stopping the bad miss slightcarp and miss brisket from turning their home into a horrible boarding school. My favourite character was Bonnie because she was kind, helpful and brave.

My mum recommended this book to me as she loved it when she was my age. It’s a fiction book, I really enjoyed the storyline and it had lots of suspense and drama...Willoughby Chase sounds like an amazing house, I would love to have hidden passageways and caves in the wood.

I didn't like the book at first, but the more I read it the more I enjoyed it. My favourite character was James, because he looked after Bonnie and Sylvia. I would recommend it to someone else.

The Wolves of Willoughby Chase is a lovely book with secret passages, an evil governess and a goose boy. I definitely recommend it to other children who have a mind for adventure. I myself had a bit of trouble getting into it. But eventually the adventure took over and I wanted to find out what happens.

A classic all round. Good when you get into it and wade past the description!

I think it was an old fashioned book and it did not hold my interest.

I think people should read this book because the storyline is interesting and i like the fact that when I was reading the book, it made me feel mature as it was not a childish type of book.

This book is brilliant! No 'buts' about it! Probably the best book EVER!

This is a really good book, the language is a little bit old but not as old as Dickens! It is quite an interesting read, and makes you want to read on. Don't worry because the book is not all about wolves (only a few pages). This book also has a few facts about wolves, and it talks about the specialities of having a good relationship with friends and family. The evilness of the villains is about as real as it gets, and they're not like the villains you see with swords but want to get hands on fortune. Overall this is a pretty good book!!!

A very good book in that two cousins have to face dangers of wolves attacking them. This was because Miss Slighcarp sent them away hoping that they would never be found again. A must- read for anyone who believes that if you don't give up you can complete any challenge.
