When Great-Uncle Horace brings back lost and homeless animals from his travels around the globe, it falls to Zoe and her mum, the zoo’s vet, to settle them into their new home. Zoe’s good at this, because she can understand what they say and talk to them, too. But that’s a secret! In this second book, a tiny penguin arrives at the zoo. He’s really cute, but a bit of a puzzle – he just doesn’t seem to know he’s a penguin!

Before I even opened the book I thought the book is going to be fiction.It was so good and about a girl who could talk to animals.I felt very sad at some moments because of the little, homelss penguin.I would recommend this book to children 7+ because there were some worsd I didn't understand.

This is fiction story. I like how Mr.Pinch eats the fish ice lolly because he was mean to Zoe, Pip and Meep in the story. If you are 6 or over you should definitely consider buying this book.

I thought it was amazing. My favourite characters are Pip, Zoe and Meep. My favourite part was when Pip was standing in the corner and Zoe asked him what was wrong and he thought he was an owl.

This book was about a adorable penguin who was confused at his surroundings at first but soon settled in. This was fiction and my favourite characters are Zoe and meep . I would recommend this to everyone

i would recommend it to all people who likes animals because this book is so interesting and there are some strong vocablaries in it so children can learn it for descriptive writing.

I have read when a girl named Zoe she had a cute kitten named Meep. I liked Zoe because she was really sweet.It interest me because it was really nice to read

I wish to have the same skill as Zoe and can talk to animals so they can talk back to me. I wish to understand their habitat. Penguin Pip from the book is the cutest and funniest penguin because firstly the penguin thought he was a zebra, then he thought he was a flamingo. My favourite character was the penguin and mouse lemur.

I love all zoes rescue zoo books but at the start of each one it explains where they live and who they are. It has that on all of the books and I know who they are. It is a good book except from the first page. Yes I recommend this book

I like Pip the penguin best, because he is a penguin, but doesn't think he's a penguin. Zoe has to persuade Pip that he is a penguin, while trying to sell tickets to a penguin feeding show, and avoiding Mr Pinch.
