Rafe Khatchadorian is getting the Hollywood treatment in a film version of Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life starring Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle and Thomas Barbusca.

After sixth grade, the very worst year of his life, Rafe Khatchadorian thinks he has it made in seventh grade. He’s been accepted to art school in the big city and imagines a math-and-history-free fun zone. Wrong! It’s more competitive than Rafe ever expected, and to score big in class, he needs to find a way to turn his boring life into the inspiration for a work of art. His method? Operation: Get a Life! Anything he’s never done before, he’s going to do it, from learning to play poker to going to a modern art museum. But when his newest mission uncovers secrets about the family Rafe’s never known, he has to decide if he’s ready to have his world turned upside down.

James Patterson’s winning follow-up to Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is another riotous and heart-warming story about living large.

I liked Rafe because he had loads of adventures. First he travelled to the city then he moved in with his grandma and tried to go back to Hills village and went to Jean’s house and Jean’s father called Rafe’s mum and said if he can have a sleepover at the house and then they went swifty’s.

This book (as being in the middle school franchise) is great. I loved the jokes in this book, this was great. The story is about swifty's... The person I liked the best was Martin? because he became from a rival to a friend. Even when they break up, he always finds a way to fix it. I would recommend this book. Please read.

I thought that this book was funny and is very similar to the book Middle School my brother is a big fat liar because they are both trying to prove themselves. I would recommend this book for children aged 4 and over.

I liked the character in this book. I preferred this to the first book in the series because this story was more of an adventure. The book would appeal to 10-11year olds who enjoy adventure and funny books.
