‘Glubbslyme. You’re magic!’

Rebecca decides to wade into the witch’s pond after a row with her best friend Sarah, and she meets a very unusual new friend – a huge, warty toad!

And Glubbslyme is no ordinary toad. Hundreds of years old, he can talk and – best of all – he can work magic. Maybe, just maybe, he can help Rebecca be best friends with Sarah again . . .

A touching tale of friendship and magic from bestselling Jacqueline Wilson.

I think Glubbslyme is a great book! I love how a toad has magical powers as it's an interesting animal to have magical powers as if you saw a toad you would think "ewwww" and Rebecca does that at the start to but she grows more fonder of Glubbslyme throughout the whole book and in the end he becomes her greatest friend!

This was an interesting book and was totally different to what I expected it to be. I enjoyed the book thoroughly but it still is not my favorite.

I liked this book because it's very imaginative and it's interesting. I like the old language but it's not to old so you can't understand it it's just right
