This is the 2nd book in the series, there’s a Netflix TV show based on this series. Mostly serious but slightly funny- perfectly balanced.

This book is really good because of like the emotion and every thing and count olaf and a,so kind of sad because of the orphans their life went from being peac eful to a life full of unfortunate events so so sad

My favourite character was Mr. Poe. This book interested me because it was different and unique. I would recommend this book to my friends.

I loved the use of Lemony Snicket’s writing.Although it was quite long it was as interesting.The way the author made the characters come to life made me feel as if I was in the story

You should read this book, if like me, you love adventure and lots and lots of cliff hangers. BUT be warned it dose include some very long and confusing words. Its a great read for any one!

If you have not seen the TV series, then this book is especially made for you. You know what they say, read the book, THEN the series! There is also a film, get it on Netflix.

I have read all 3 of these books and they are so sad! I wish there could just be a small break in which the Baudelaire children have a happy time. It starts ( in the bad beginning ) when the children's parents die in a fire that has destroyed their house and everything in it. It gets worse from there. The children are sent to live with an evil relative and find that he will do anything to get his dirty hands on the fortune their parents left behind. He then dangles the youngest Baudelaire of a roof and tells the eldest to either marry him, or he will drop her youngest sibling down to the ground, 50 feet below! So she has no choice but to agree...

You need to read this it is amazing its full off mystery and unfortunate stuff if you like that kind off things then drop the book you have got make a clear space on your shelfs and read!!
