This fictional mystery has a gripping storyline and (despite it being difficult) I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters of both Ruby and Hitch. I’d recommend it to mystery lovers aged 9-13.

I enjoyed this book because its about a girl who is determined to find out who robbed her house of everything (literally)and get it all back. Good story, easy to read.

I love it, because Ruby Redford is a normal girl, but she always foils the Count’s plans.

When I started to read this book, I was enthralled. Who was this mysterious, good-looking, highly intelligent girl, Ruby? When she was asked to join a secret spy agency and keep it a secret, I wondered if she would. What about her best friend, Clancy Crew, who knew she was up to something? When she realises that she can solve the mystery she was asked to code-crack for, she meets villains of all kinds and is close to death... My favourite character has to be Ruby Redfort herself, because of her coolness and braveness and it was just such an amazing book! I recommend this book for children from aged 11 - 14. I would rate this book 5 stars because it was exciting, thrilling and brilliant.

I really enjoyed Ruby Redford because I really like learning about all the undercover mission that they go on. My favourite character is Ruby because she is really talented especially at cracking codes. I would recommend it to people who like mysteries and puzzles. Thanks Bye
